The information point at the start of the trail
The path follows this burn up through the dense birch and pine woodland
The path climbs steadily and you soon leave the birch trees and come to an area of open pine woodland.
As the trees thin out Slioch comes in to view across
Loch Maree
When you cross this bridge the path gets much steeper and rockier
so if in doubt turn back here.
A fine view of Beinn a' Mhuinidh,
the Heights of Kinlochewe walk goes up the valley
Looking down the steep path section.
