A worthwhile diversion from the path for confident scramblers is to ascend the rocky top of Sidhean Mor

It was here in 1945 that a Liberator Bomber crashed with the loss of nine crew and six passengers. There is a memorial plaque and the whole area is a war grave.

Path to Loch Horrisdale
The path now traverses some marshy ground towards Loch Braigh Horrisdale
