Stoer Lighthouse
On a clear day we can see the Lighthouse from Na Fir Chlis. At night we see the light flashing.
Lochinver
Overlooked by Suilven , Lochinver is still a busy fishing port. Lots of sandy beaches nearby.

The road through the Nature Reserve and up the coast to Lochinver is one of the prettiest in Scotland. Stac Polly now has a very good path up it and is well worth the effort. Lovely views across the lochan studded moorland.

Achiltibuie
Overlooking the Summer Isles and home to the well known Hydroponicum full of exotic plants. Ullapool
Established in the late 18th century by the British Fisheries Society to expand the fishing industry, Ullapool is a busy place in the summer. The Ferry to Stornaway and the Outer Islands leaves from here.

Leckmelm Garden
12 acres of gardens first laid out in the 1870's. Many interesting trees and shrubs. Corrieshalloch Gorge
One of the finest examples of a box canyon in Britain. The 150ft Falls of Measach can be viewed from a suspension bridge spanning the gorge, very spectacular!
Gruinard Bay
Lovely sandy beaches. Popular with birdwatchers, Sea Eagles can be observed.

Cove
Picturesque drive round the shores of Loch Ewe with some lovely sandy beaches at Firemore. The road ends at Cove where the wartime gun emplacements can still be seen. These protected the entrance to Loch Ewe, where many convoys were assembled.
Gairloch
Busy Tourist Centre, with Shops, Bank, Petrol Station, Restaurants, Golf Course, Pony Trekking, Heritage Museum.
Rua Reidh
Spectacular drive up the coast from Gairloch. Lovely sea views.
Red Point
Lovely Beaches, Old Salmon Fishing Station,. Coastal walk to Craig Youth Hostel and Diabaig.
Victoria Falls
The viewing platform for the falls is just a few minutes from the car park
Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve
Britain's oldest National Nature Reserve. Owned by Scottish Natural Heritage. Newly re-built Visitors Centre and Nature Trails. Kinlochewe

Has Shops and Petrol Station. Interesting walks from the car park at Incheril. Torridon
Famous for its rugged mountain scenery, the Torridon Estate is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland who have a visitor centre here.
Diabaig
Dramatic drive on single track road along the North side of Loch Torridon brings you to Diabaig an idyllic fishing village. The film "Loch Ness" was made here.
Shieldaig

Applecross
The drive from Shieldaig round the coast to Applecross has stunning coastal views across to the Isle of Skye. The Applecross Inn can be highly recommended as a stopping place for lunch, before tackling the drive over the Bealach na Ba Pass to Kishorn.
